I like totally had a radical time tonight all dressed up for 80's Ladies' Night at The Melting Pot with my hot pink zebra print press-on nails. Usually I go to Melting Pot for my birthday but this year I knew I was going for ladies' night so I didn't. I always enjoy the typically 2 hour (minimum) dining experience. Tonight was no exception.

We had the Wisconsin Trio and Fiesta cheeses (sorry, no photo), the Mojo and Coq au Vin (shown here) as our cooking styles.

I believe it was the fondue feast that we cooked. Whatever it was, it was good and included shrimp, chicken, beef, ravioli, potato, mushroom caps (which I fill with their "green goddess" concoction and broccoli.

There was of course chocolate fondue for dessert, which were a pot of S'mores and a Turtle with "no nuts" which we decided to call a "female turtle". The server didn't think it was as funny as we did. Oh well! There's strawberries, bananas, pound cake, brownies, rice crispy treats, marshmallows and cheesecake -- all included. I brought the cheesecake and a few other dessert items home to Dan.
I did a pretty good job of not overdoing it compared to all my other trips to The Melting Pot. I'm proud of that because a year ago I'd have ate twice as much.
