Chainog Toddy
December 30, 2010

Filled with so much flavor that it is hard to describe if you've never enjoyed it, Tazo® Chai Tea consists of: black tea, rooibos, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, chicory, natural flavors and star anise, cane sugar, honey, ginger juice, natural flavors, vanilla, and citric acid. If you've ever had a chai tea latte, and you like eggnog, then you've just discovered your newest favorite drink for the holiday season.
Tazo® Decaf Chai Tea Concentrate is the base for this drink. It's exactly what Starbucks uses and is available at most grocery stores now, although you might find the decaf variety harder to come by than the caffeinated. If you can't find it at your grocery store, you can purchase it at most Starbucks locations.
NOTE: This recipe makes a thick drink close to the consistency of eggnog. If you find it to sweet or thick, you can mix 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of the tea concentrate.
